Farleigh Education Group

• Farleigh Education Group (Sept 1996- Oct 2002)

Started, by Stephen Bradshaw, in 1996 as a single site residential school for children with Asperger's Syndrome in a leased building.

Farleigh Education Group was eventually sold to the Priory Group in 2004 as 3 schools across 4 sites. These were the first schools in the country for pupils with Asperger's Syndrome and comprised Farleigh College, North Hill House and Farleigh Further Education College.

The group was sold with no debt and an EBITDA of £1.9m, and represented the first group of schools sold to a Private Equity backed company in the UK.
